The Buffalo Zoo

To be honest it's not much of  a trip for us, we are pretty close by, but this zoo has come a long way in the last few years and if you have not been to the Buffalo Zoo since “the kids were little”, you really should check it out.    Everything was very clean (as you can see in the photos) and very well maintained.  There are TONS of new exhibits.  The Heritage Barn is brand new and is a real Niagara county barn from the 19th century.  They had it dismantled and rebuilt at the Buffalo Zoo and its now filled with animals again.

Sea Lion Cove is fairly new, it offers a great look at sea lions from above and under water.  The elephants have a new expanded area to roam.  This was also our first time in the Rainforest Falls.  They did a great job with this attraction.  They have alligators with turtles, monkeys,  birds and more all in the same habitat.
