We decided to try to add the "Cadillac Ranch" to our list of road trip stops for this summers trip.
Cadillac Ranch is an outdoor art attraction that was created in 1974 by Chip Lord, Hudson Marquez and Doug Michels, all part of the art group Ant Farm.
They buried 10 Cadillacs in the ground nose first. In 1997 it was moved to to a cow pasture along Interstate 40.
The Cadillac Ranch as sung about in Bruce Springsteen's song of the same name, is located in Amarillo , TX, on the old Rt 66.
The location was also featured in the Pixar movie CARS. In the movie, the town of Radiator Springs sits just outside of "Cadillac Range" .
